The @Sandton Kids Difference
At @Sandton Kids, children aged 4 months to 7 years thrive in a nurturing environment during a four-term school year (children aged 8 and older are not accommodated). The centre offers flexible half-day and full-day care including nutritious meals, operating from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm for enrolled students and until 5:00 pm for daily visitors.
The secure, access-controlled facility features six fully equipped classrooms alongside vibrant indoor and outdoor play areas designed to boost creativity, confidence, and social skills. Parents gain complete peace of mind through a dedicated 12-member team, which includes eight qualified Early Childhood Development (ECD) practitioners. For maximum safety, all staff are trained in First Aid and Fire Fighting, supported by an onsite Health and Safety Team to ensure a secure space where childhood memories are made.
Play through Learning
At @Sandton Kids, under the leadership of manager Naz Scholtz, the educational approach centres on the belief that children learn best through play, hands-on exploration, and sensory experiences. The school’s philosophy prioritises emotional support, ensuring children feel safe, secure, and loved before formal learning begins, which builds the confidence needed to explore and embrace new challenges.
Following a unique, play-based educational model, the centre focuses on developing the vital academic, social, emotional, and physical skills required for future success. To support this, the team consists of hand-picked educators selected for specific age groups to provide tailored, age-appropriate guidance. By celebrating individual milestones and allowing children to learn at their own pace, the centre fosters a joyful, creative environment that builds a strong foundation for life.
Meal Times
At @Sandton Kids, busy minds and growing bodies are fuelled by balanced, wholesome meals freshly prepared on-site by a dedicated in-house chef. Depending on the enrolment option chosen, children are provided with a variety of nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, including breakfast, a 10:00 am snack, lunch at 12:00 pm, and a 3:00 pm snack.
To keep families closely connected to their child's day, the centre provides regular updates via WhatsApp. Parents and caregivers receive photos and videos that offer a special window into daily activities, mealtimes, playtime, friendships, and milestone moments.
Holiday Care Programs
At Sandton Kids, we cater for children from 4 months to 7 years of age.
During holiday care, our school is transformed into a fun-filled wonderland where little ones can explore, create, and play in a safe, nurturing environment. Each day is packed with exciting activities including sensory play, games, puzzles, building activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor fun designed to keep children engaged and happy.
Our dedicated team will ensure that every baby, toddler, and child is safe, loved, well-fed, and entertained while parents enjoy peace of mind knowing their children are in caring and capable hands.

Our preschool offers flexible childcare options to suit your family’s routine. Choose between our Half Day or Full Day programme (Monday – Friday (closed on weekends & Public Holidays)
Full Day: 06h00 – 18h00
Half Day: 06h00 – 12h30

Extra-Mural Activities
We believe in a well-rounded experience. Two extra-mural activities are included in the school fees. Additional extra-murals are available at an extra cost for parents who would like to extend their child’s enrichment programme.
